Caridee’s life turned upside down about 2 years ago. She is a 17-yr old teenager that loves doing crafts and watching Harry Potter. In May of 2023, a CT scan showed a large mass on her brain after complaining of headaches. She had surgery the next day and it was discovered that the tumor was cancerous. Caridee dove right in though, a shunt was placed in, and she completed all the chemo treatments (16 months) along with 2 blood transfusions. After she battled those issues, she had to have eye surgery to help with the double vision. This past April, 2025 Caridee had surgery to remove the brain tumor. The surgeon is 98% confident he was able to remove it all. She is currently back at school part time and loves spending time with her mother and grandmother at craft fairs.
