Meet our 8 year-old fighting miracle, Joshua. At 2 days old he was diagnosed with Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome (heart never developed). At 1 week old, he had his 1st open heart surgery. By 6 months old, he had to have 2 more open heart surgeries. Then at 1 years old he had to have blood transfusions and 3 chemo treatments for Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia. All these complications along with another open heart surgery, his heart is failing. He will need a heart transplant. Joshy’s blood disorder puts him at a higher risk of his body rejecting a new heart. So this is going to be a very difficult journey but with your prayers and support, Joshy will make it through this.
